Hello, World!
My first post. A bit about who I am, where I've been, and why I'm genuinely excited about what's ahead.

Hey, hi, hello. Welcome!
This is my first post, so let me start with a proper introduction.
A Bit About Me
I'm a senior software engineer. I spent years in the industry building things, debugging things, and doing it all over again. Then a layoff hit, and with it came something I wasn't fully prepared for: burnout.
It didn't arrive all at once. It crept in slowly after the job was gone. I spent a good while just trying to recover, figuring out what I actually wanted, and honestly, remembering why I got into this in the first place.
That period was hard. But looking back, it gave me something too: space to slow down, reflect, and pay attention to where things are heading.
Where Things Are Heading
AI is where my attention landed, and I don't think I'll be looking away anytime soon.
The pace is genuinely wild right now. New tools, new models, new workflows showing up what feels like every single day. As someone who has been in software for a while, it's rare to feel this kind of shift. It reminds me of the early days of the web, or mobile, except it's moving faster and touching everything at once.
I find that exciting. A little overwhelming at times, but mostly exciting. This feels like one of those moments where staying curious and leaning in actually matters.
What's Coming
This blog is where I'll share what I'm learning and building. Expect:
- AI development workflows: how I actually use these tools day to day
- Tips and tools: what's worth knowing and what's actually good
- The honest stuff: what works, what doesn't, and what surprised me
Stay Tuned
If any of that resonates, stick around. I'm just getting started, and I'm genuinely looking forward to what comes next.
Thanks for reading. More soon.
